As a 4th generation "Anglo" Californian who lived in Venezuela as a child I applaud all your efforts in North Carolina! Continue with all your projects and do the best you can.
California is definately feeling all the effects of MASSIVE immigration and legal children of illegals. So many examples I cannot keep a short essay.
These people have to be assimilated in a way where the Hispanics do not pitt themselves against others and attempt to dominate, deny employment, take advantage, and be rude to others. This is a problem for the idea of majority rules when the Spanish majority (yes here) has no respect for other cultures. Education for all could help with this I believe.
Regarding the English vs Spanish issue. Well I think that one language taught to all helps communication. However, I do think a second language should also be taught to all. Unfortunately it is often hard to keep a second language going if it is not used regularly. Also I think it can be hard to learn a second language well. So I think that English should be the main language - why? many more reasons - but that it is also good for two languages with word for word translations to be on much paperwork. That way English speaking people can learn the second language of Spanish a little and vice versa. But two languages or more on paperwork should not be a reason for Spanish only except for the very old on American soil.
Other problems in California that I see. No one except the very sparce immigration service has been allowed to identity and return illegals that are trying for a better life and we are bad and inhumane if we do not (lower our standard of living etc to) make room for them so they can on occasion take advantage of us.
You are definately on the right track and working in a knowledgeable way that I admire. Education in ? working together is also needed and I think Hispanics teaching Hispanics to respect other cultures (civics?) is one way that works well.

Why don't you post the ad on your campaign's youtube channel? You're missing a lot of exposure in not doing so.

Apparently a vote for Hagan is the same as a vote for amnesty as in responding to questions regarding Senator Dole's ad she stated "“It's a patchwork system,” said Hagan. “We need comprehensive immigration reform in this country.” Just more code words for granting citizenship to the criminals who broke into this country illegally.

Ms. Dole,

It is great to deport these repeat offenders. I dont think we should wait until they are repeat offenders to exercise this plan. But I have a few questions, What about the ones that are not criminals? What about their American born Children? How do you propose to fix that problem. They come to NC, Get A Drivers Lisence, Pay Taxes, Buy Homes and go to school. What is your plan for these illegal immigrants that want to be a part of the Ameican Life much the same way our ancestors did? And one last question, Once we deport the repeat offenders, How in the world are we going to keep them from returning? It is a much more complex problem than just Deporting them. These are the issues concerning immigration that are important to this republican voter.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to your reply and hope to shake your hand in the near future.
